What Is An Accredited Investor

Information About Accredited Investors

One or more of the following statements must be true to be an accredited investor:

  1. I am a natural person (individual) whose own net worth, taken together with the net worth of my spouse, exceeds $1,000,000. Net worth for this purpose means total assets (including residence, personal property and other assets) in excess of total liabilities.
  2. I have an individual income of $200,000 or more; or joint income with my spouse of $300,000 or more in each of the two most recent years and I reasonably expect individual income in excess of that amount in the current year.
  3. I represent an organization described in section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, corporation, Massachusetts or similar business trust, or partnership, not formed for the specific purpose of acquiring the securities offered, with total assets in excess of $5,000,000.
